The Face & The Body Spa & Salon, located in St. Louis, MO, was recently sold to Jennah Purk, a local entrepreneur and business owner, according to an article written by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Purk is the owner of Tribe LLC, the parent company for other local spas including The Rock Med Spa in Rock Hill, Fuzion Salon & Spa in South County and The Bend Salon in Webster Groves.
“We are thrilled to bring one of St. Louis’ first day spas and salons into our family of medical and day spas, and salons. The Face & The Body is an iconic name throughout St. Louis, and I have much admiration for its trailblazing founder Peggy Mitchusson who is a mentor to me,” says Purk.
The article states, "The 2021 estimated revenue for Tribe with the acquisition of The Face & The Body will be near $7 million with more than 150 employees." Purk plans to add a full medical spa service menu to the spa's current treatment options.
Tribe LLC will provide the opportunity and management to The Face & The Body to grow their company "culture" and continue in the staff's education and training. The spa will also introduce "state-of-the-art equipment" into their already robust service menu. Purk will work to keep the "customer experience exceptional."
