During National Small Business Week, Facebook released Automated Ads, appointments and new video editing tools in an effort to support the over 90 million small businesses that are on the social platform. More specifically, Facebook's Appointments feature is aimed to help service-based businesses, like spas and salons, book appointments on Facebook.
This free tool will help spa owners be able to book and manage appointments on their Facebook and Instagram platforms. This tool can also be used to enable new and existing customers to book services with the spa as well as allow the owner to accept and manage all appointment directly on their business page. To help with organization, this tool allows spa owners to sync appointments with their personal calendars or another appointment management tool of their choosing.
