Matthew Bryant has been appointed general manager of Acme, Michigan’s Grand Traverse Resort & Spa.
Bryant brings more than 30 years of hotel and resort experience to the role, most recently as a consultant overseeing the business and marketing plans for the opening of the Margaritaville Resort in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. He has also served as general manager for Radisson, Six Flags and Marriott properties, and has worked at the Timberline Inn of Saugatuck, the Residence Inn Dearborn, and Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island.
“I’ve always been a salesman for the state of Michigan,” said Bryant. “When I saw the opportunity to come back to the area, it felt like coming home. Grand Traverse Resort & Spa is an organization where I can pursue my passions for service, relationships, and community. I look forward to creating lasting memories for our guests.”
