Davidson Hospitality Group announces its expansion into Europe with the addition of Ragdale Hall Spa to the Davidson Resorts management portfolio.

Davidson Hospitality Group is a full-service hospitality management company comprised of 84 existing hotels, resorts and other spaces across the U.S., Europe and the Caribbean. A trusted partner of Marriott, Hilton and Hyatt, Davidson Hospitality Group specializes in delivering the personalized experience of a smaller company using the reach and resources of a large operation.

The UK spa market is steadily growing, driven largely by the aging and affluent population, who can and want to prioritize a new standard of wellness, rather than simply living disease-free.

The Ragdale Hall Spa

This addition rests on 13 acres of Leicestershire countryside, holding 93 rooms and suites, four restaurants and bars, 11,400 square feet of spa facilities that include 42 treatment rooms, six indoor pools, three fitness studios, two tennis courts, three retail outlets and an expansive menu of wellness activities and offerings.

Davidson currently has a small team in Europe operating as an extension of the U.S.'s opportunistic model as it thoughtfully pursues growth abroad.

The Ragdale Hall Spa sets out to be an adult-only destination spa that allows well-seekers the chance to continue their journeys uninterrupted under the ethos that true relaxation is best achieved in an open, serene environment where their well-being is the first priority.

“We are delighted to make our international foray as stewards for this iconic and world-class destination wellness retreat,” says Thom Geshay, Davidson Hospitality Group CEO & president. “For over a year now, our UK-based team has been studying markets abroad and [has] recognized a need for institutional management by operators like Davidson. We look forward to embracing the team, the culture and the community while carrying on the great tradition of curated wellness experiences for our guests. We also embrace the challenge of creating tremendous value for our partners through maximizing profitability while also delivering heartfelt hospitality at this place of sanctuary dedicated to the best in modern treatments and ultimate relaxation.”
