The at-home hair care device combines laser and LED light therapy in a cordless system. It is designed to go beyond traditional LED-only caps and brings together 300 precision laser diodes, 200 LED light points and four wavelengths. combines focused laser light with broader LED illumination to support a multi-technology approach to hair growth and scalp care. The PlasmaGLO™ Hair+ Cap features two dedicated modes:
- Laser + Red LED Mode: Combines 300 precision 680 nm red laser diodes with 200 red LED light points operating at 625 nm and 655 nm, designed to provide focused light alongside broader scalp illumination.
- Blue LED Mode: Uses 60 blue LEDs operating at 422 nm, with no laser emitted during the session.
These technologies are designed to support hair growth and fullness for those who are experiencing concerns including thinning hair, reduced hair density and a receding hairline. Low-level light therapy is an option for certain types of hair loss, including androgenetic alopecia, though results vary depending on the individual and the cause of hair loss.
