The spaQ located at QT Sydney, one of Australia's fashion-forward boutique hotels, is featuring one of the newest trends in skin care—caviar facials.
Guests at the spaQ can treat themselves to The Signature Caviar Facial, a treatment by Kerstin Florian. According to the spa, the facial uses cell rejuvenating caviar as well as Chinese botanical antioxidants with the aim to exfoliate, increase collagen production, hydrate and infuse the skin with age-defying nutrients to help soften lines and wrinkles.
The facial begins with a cleansing and toning process using Caviar Cleanser and Caviar Rose Demascena Mist, which is followed by a deeply exfoliating enzyme peel derived from pineapple extract.
Next, comes the Aculift Massage, with the aim to firm and tone the facial muscles and skin; the Intensive Repair Ampule is used during the 60-minute treatment or the coQ10 Ampule is used during the 90-minute treatment which stimulates, firms and tones the facial muscles and the skin, the spa said. The Marine Biomatrix sheet containing hydrating and nourishing algae is applied while a massage using chilled beauty globes is used to help stimulate circulation. Completing this luxury facial, the Caviar Eye Creme, Caviar Age-Defense Serum and Caviar Age-Defense Creme are applied to leave the skin at its sumptuous best.
The treatment costs between $220 for a 60-minute treatment and $295 for a 90-minute treatment; the 90 minute treatment also includes a scalp, shoulder and foot massage.
