The Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch has gone for the gold—and the silver. The resort was named the No. 2 Top Hotel in the World, No. 1 Resort Hotel in the Continental U.S. and No. 1 Resort Hotel in the West in Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards 2019.
This marks the third year in the row the Saratoga, Wyoming resort has taken home Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards; in 2017 it was named No. 1 Resort Hotel in the Continental U.S., and No. 2 Resort Hotel in 2018.
“To be named the No. 1 Resort Hotel in the U.S. by readers of one of the foremost travel publications in the world is an incredible honor,” said Mike Williams, executive vice president and chief operating officer of The Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch. “While The Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch is well-known for its awe-inspiring landscape and numerous prestigious accolades, what really sets us apart is our people and the western spirit of hospitality that is ingrained in everything that we do. This recognition is a testament to that commitment.”
The awards are based on an annual reader survey. Developed by the publication’s editors in association with digital marketing firm Wylei, the survey invited readers to rate their favorite destinations, hotels, resorts, spas, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, rental-car agencies, and more.
Hotels were categorized as City or Resort, based on their locations. For resort hotels, the U.S. was divided into seven regions, with The Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch leading the Western region (including Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming). Results were published in the August 2019 issue of Travel + Leisure and online at travelandleisure.com.
