DESTIN, Fla. – Henderson Beach Resort has appointed Zita Alexander as its Spa Director. Alexander has more than a decade of luxury spa and operations experience and brings with her an array of knowledge, creativity and appreciation of personalized wellness. Alexander joins Henderson Beach Resort as it embarks on an evolution of its spa and wellness offerings.
Henderson Beach Resort is Destin, Fla.'s only luxury resort and its 170 luxurious hotel rooms and suites provide stunning coastal views and top-notch amenities. The resort is adjacent to the 208-acre Henderson Beach State Park and is nestled along Destin's white sands.
Alexander brings a well-rounded, hands-on approach to wellness leadership. Most recently, she served as Director of Spa & Operations at Pure Harmony Med Spa & Integration Spa in Jacksonville, and led two high-performing locations and drove significant growth in both service and retail revenue. Prior to that role, she was the Director of Spa Operations at JW Marriott in Charlotte, where she increased departmental revenue by more than 40 percent in just four months. She also managed the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island.
Throughout her career, Alexander has demonstrated a strong ability to elevate guest experiences, build and mentor high-performing teams, and drive operational excellence. She holds a degree in Hospitality Management and is a licensed massage therapist and esthetician.
