NEW YORK -- Laura Geller announced that its Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer: Hydrate has earned the National Eczema Association (NEA) Seal of Acceptance.

The recognition makes the Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer: Hydrate one of the first makeup primers to receive this designation. Having this designation underscores Laura Geller's commitment to creating high performing, gentle beauty products that are suitable and accessible for a wide range of skin concerns and types.

"Earning the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance for this Spackle Primer is an important milestone for our brand," said Laura Geller, the brand's founder. "I have always believed that beauty should never come at the cost of your skin's health. So many of our customers live with eczema, rosacea, and other skin sensitivities, and they deserve to know that the products they trust are truly formulated with their well-being in mind."

Laura Geller was launched in 1997 by the New York-based makeup artist. Geller's mission was to demystify the daily makeup routine and create transformational products that bring joy back to beauty. In addition to the NEA designation, Laura Geller is launching a new campaign, with actress, advocate and longtime ambassador Fran Drescher.

"I've always been passionate about health and what we put on our bodies, so being part of a campaign that truly walks the walk was something I couldn't say no to," said Fran Drescher.

The NEA Seal of Acceptance is awarded to products that meet rigorous standards set by the National Eczema Association. Products that bear the Seal have been evaluated and found suitable for use by people with eczema and sensitive skin.  Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer: Hydrate primer is also recognized by the National Psoriasis Foundation as safe for individuals with psoriasis.
