The Four Seasons wants to see you Aegean: the luxury chain is gearing up to open its Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens, which will begin welcoming guests March 29, 2019.

The Astir Palace Hotel underwent extensive renovations before transforming into Greece’s first Four Seasons. It includes three private beaches and three private swimming pools; a tennis academy; basketball court and non-motorized water sports; a fully supervised kids club; and a spa and hydrotherapy house inspired by Greek traditions.

Guests can choose from three accommodation options:

  • The mid-century modern Nafsika building, featuring seaside views
  • The laidback, Bauhaus-inspired Arion, which houses many of the hotel’s restaurants
  • One of 61 renovated bungalows nestled among trees at the water’s edge

Among the dining options include the Italian trattoria Mercato, the Greek Pelagos (featuring seafood), the beachfront Taverna 37, Latin American-inspired Helios Grill at poolside and Aristotle’s Cigar Bar.

“Nowhere in the world do ancient culture and modern lifestyle come together so beautifully than in Greece,” said general manager Sam Ioannidis.  “With our close proximity to the city – just 30 minutes from both the Acropolis and the airport – the ideal Greek vacation has never been more accessible.  Whether taking a quick break or staying a few weeks to take in all the sights and immerse yourself in the glamour and fun of the Athenian Riviera, Four Seasons can help you customize your perfect beach holiday.”
