A California salon decided to show servicewomen their appreciation the best way they know how: Mane Headquarters Salon and Day Spa partnered with the Wounded Heroes Fund to treat female veterans to a day of pampering, reports the Bakersfield Californian.

Vets were provided a facial, massage, shampoo blowout, and manicures and pedicures. Mane, which opened in May, 2018, and the Wounded Heroes Fund covered all costs.

“I feel honored that we get to be part of something like this and help out our community and make an impact and set a positive role in how our businesses should be treating all of our veterans when they come home,” spa co-owner Roschel Anderson-Wynn told the publication. “We should be taking better care of them.”
