The Skin Inc. LIVE! Stage has been completely revamped to bring a whole new meaning to the term “edutainment.” While some things will stay the same, like how the stage will be bringing quick, 25-minute educational sessions to attendees directly on the expo hall floor, the actual presentations have been completely revamped. We’re not just talking new themes though, we are talking a whole new concept.
This year, the Skin Inc. LIVE! Stage is going to completely focus on what is trending in the industy, covering topics from the latest microneedling treatment trend called The Glass Facial, to what the Gen Z consumer is looking for from your business. We have gathered a variety of industry experts that make it their business to stay at the cusp of these cutting edge trends, so that they can teach you everything you need to know about them in quick, clear and convenient presentations.
We are also going to be hosting three different 45-minute panels that will dive deep into three topics you absolutely will not want to miss; starting with dermaplaning. This is a hot treatment that has been popping up everywhere in different brand protocols and consumer social media feeds. This panel will go beyond simply discussing the techiques, tips and tricks when it comes to dermaplaning your clients, and it will go even further to provide inspiration as to what kind of treatments dermaplaning pairs well with, how you can market it to your clients and how you can boost your business sales from it.
Another hot topic that is going to be covered in an industry expert led panel will be AI in the spa. There have been questions bubbling up around AI in the spa, where it is going and how it can be used to boost spa business and success. We are going to answer all of the questions swirling around this latest spa advancement on this undeniably informative panel.

Finally, our last panel of the show is going to jump right into social media trends that are sweeping the spa nation. Social media has caused a surge in trending skin care that has never been seen before. This leaves a lot of questions for consumers on what is and is not actually good for their skin, and it leaves undeniable room for opportunity and growth for spa professionals to educate their clients and bring some flare to their spa menus.

It is no secret that a major change we are bringing on this year is relocating our show to Sacramento, CA from San Jose. A change in scenary is exactly what we needed, especially with a place that blends in seamlessly with our Beauty in Nature theme. Sacramento is such a nature hub that it was nicknamed “The City of Trees.” This theme will carry over into nature-inspired spa and salon services, organic and natural ingredients and products, eco-conscious beauty, and so much more.
Sacramento has coined a few different nicknames in its time including City of Trees, Sactown, Farm to Fork Capital, Almond Capital, Big Tomato, Sacto, Sac and River City. We are excited to add Face & Body Spa Conference and Expo hub to that list as well. With this being a city that is easy to fall in love with, we thought that blended beautifully with Face & Body being a spa conference you fall in love with.
