Sorry 2020, but you have left us exhausted and bewildered to say the least. However, the anticipation of a fresh new year with fresh new trends is bringing me new life! How about you? I could not be more excited for 2021 and all it has to offer.
Although I was anxiously awaiting fashion week in Fall 2020, it looked different this year much like many other events. However, even a pandemic could not stop it. As always, the show must go on. Brands became creative this year and did not disappoint.
We saw runways without human models and digital shows and images without any runways at all. Fashion designers, makeup artists and everyone who contribute to the world of fashion truly stepped up to the plate this year. A group of the most creative minds in the business got even more creative and pulled it off. Get ready to be inspired. Brands like Chanel and Dior showed up and showed out, as well as trendsetting artists like Pat McGrath, Isamaya Ffrench and Tom Sapin, just to name a few. Bold lips, smokey eyes and vivid blue lids dominated the runways. We also saw a contrasting surge of bare-faced models as well. Regardless if you are looking to mimic the natural trends or the big bold looks, the inspirations were plentiful.
