Solei & Co Day Spa, in Auburn, Washington has been recognized in the 2020 Mindbody Visionary Award Winners under the category of Consciously Evolving (Beauty and Wellness).

Solei & Co Day was recognized for the spa owner's activism when the government restricted what services could be offered at spas. She immediately contacted the Washington governor’s office, and her activism turned into an invitation to sit on a committee of small business owners offering advice to the Governor.

Other winners of this category include:

Bodywise Massage located in San Rafael, California. When the business originally closed, the wellness studio offered distance reiki energy healing. Then, when only outdoor massages were allowed, the business renovated its courtyard to create a private treatment oasis.

Lockdown turned Paula Cliffin Skin in Cleveland, Australia into a skin care product distribution center right from Cliffin’s living room which became a warehouse where she packed and shipped products to her customers, even when her business was closed.

In the category of Committed to Wellness: Accessibility and Diversity, comes The Pearl Day Spa in Eugene, Oregon.

From the spa manager reaching out to community leaders to educate staff on creating safe and inclusive space for BIPOC and trans/gender non-conforming individuals to offering free chair massage to evacuees from Oregon's fires this summer, Pearl Day Spa went above and beyond to reach members of its community this year.
