Skin Inc. Magazine Takes the Bronze!

Skin Inc. magazine is proud to announce that it has won the Bronze Award in the “Regular Column, Contributed” category of the American Society of Business Publication Editor’s (ASBPE) 2008 Azbee Annual Awards of Excellence.

The award, which was entered in the Midwest-South region for publications with a circulation under 80,000, was bestowed on the Skin Inc. magazine columns “Good Hands: Back to the Beginning” and “Good Hands: Stepping Up for Success.” Those pieces, written by Dermalogica’s Annet King, ran in the February 2007 and July 2007 issues of Skin Inc. magazine, respectively.

The ASBPE’s Azbee awards program, now in its 30th year, honors the hard work and commitment of business and professional magazines, newsletters, and Web editors and designers. This award is a prestigious acknowledgement that Skin Inc. magazine's work has met high standards of excellence and is at the top of its profession. The society’s contest is extremely competitive and is drawn from more than 2,600 entries—by far the largest U.S. business competition. Its judges are experienced business editors, designers, consultants and academicians.

Author of the winning columns, Annet King is the director of training and development for The International Dermal Institute (IDI) and is both CIDESCO- and CIBTAC-certified. She has more than 18 years of skin care industry experience and oversees IDI locations throughout the world, including in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
