[SAN ANTONIO] Jan. 22, 2026—Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Villas, a newly renovated resort located on 300 scenic acres in the Texas Hill Country, completes a full renovation to its Windflower Spa.
The renovation enhances guest relaxation in an upscale ranch-style setting. The updates complement the resort’s ongoing development, which includes the addition of five standalone luxury villas, completely renovated guestrooms and suites and updated meeting spaces and restaurants.
Hyatt Regency resorts are known for providing spaces that are convenient for professionals, equipped with meeting spaces and amenities, while providing a wide array of comforts for the individual.
“We are thrilled to continue to elevate our resort experience with the debut of the updated Windflower Spa, available to our guests and local community,” says Steven J. Smith, general manager at Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Villas. “Our gorgeous and tranquil setting, surrounded by giant oak trees and lush greenery, lends itself to relaxation and serenity. Windflower Spa is designed to evoke a sense of calm—from the moment guests step inside the barn-inspired building to the time they depart, our team has created an atmosphere of tranquility. Now, with the addition of our new villas located right next to the spa, our resort provides an even more immersive wellness-focused getaway for travelers.”
The spa renovation added a 1,105 square-foot customizable event space, the Talpa room. Additionally, the spa’s pool was refinished and outfitted with new comfortable poolside lounge chairs, and the scenic outdoor relaxation area was updated with new landscaping and upgraded seating.

Windflower Spa is located just steps from the resort’s brand-new luxury villas. Designed to pay tribute to the heritage of the Rogers-Wiseman Ranch and Texas Hill Country, the spa was created to reflect a traditional Texas barn. The spa’s treatments draw inspiration from the rich heritage and botanicals of the area, designed to renew the body and mind. This spring, the resort will further enhance its on-site wellness experience with the debut of a 2.2-acre, man-made lagoon powered by Crystal Lagoons technology.
