GSN Planet (GSN), a leading nonprofit trade association in the spa and wellness industry, has opened applications for its 2026 Board of Directors.

The GSN has long sought to reinforce the connective tissues between personal well-being, economic sustainability and environmental stewardship.  By providing educational resources, advocacy opportunities and spaces for the spa industry to convene, the GSN hopes to empower professionals and businesses to make more eco-conscious decisions.

Currently, there is no single entity that prioritizes sustainability and the connection to personal wellness. While there have been sustainability-forward entities in other industries (many of which affect and are related to spas), there has yet to be a single, concentrated effort for the spa industry.

2026 Board of Director Applications

Applications are open now through December 15, 2025, and can be submitted directly here or through the GSN website, where more information on the Board of Directors can also be found.

To serve on its board, the GSN is looking for passionate, purpose-driven professionals who bring expertise in marketing, fundraising, sustainability, financial planning and legal matters to help guide its mission and shape the future of sustainable wellness.

Selected candidates will begin their first three-year term in January 2026.

“As GSN grows and evolves, we’re looking for new voices to help us continue this important work,” said Maggy Dunphy, GSN Planet Board President. “We welcome applicants who are not only passionate about sustainability and wellness but who bring the strategic and operational skills that will help GSN thrive in the years ahead.”
