The $4,000 Grit & Glamour Scholarship is now open to aspiring cosmetologists and estheticians across Texas and Georgia. Open to industry veterans, mentoring assistants or aspiring professionals looking to elevate their beauty careers, Ogle School gives students the advantages of a flexible schedule, real-world training and a robust network of like-minded professionals to support their professional development.
Scholarship Details
Each recipient receives $4,000 split in two disbursements: $2,000 upon enrollment and another $2,000 mid-way into the program. One recipient is chosen per program start month:
- If you have a September start, your application is due August 25, with the winner announced August 29.
- If you have an October start, your application is due September 29, with the winner announced October 6.
- If you have a November start, your application is due November 3, with the winner announced November 10.
The Grit & Glamour Scholarship is open to Texas and Georgia residents who are new to Ogle School's cosmetology or esthetics programs and who demonstrate resilience, a passion for beauty and, if applicable, a 2.5 GPA or higher.
The application requires a 500-word personal essay, a 3-5 image portfolio and one letter of recommendation.
