AstaReal AB’s Astaxin Gentle Face Cleanser was named the winner in the category of Facial Cleanser of the Year at the Swedish Beauty Awards 2026.

Gunnarsson added that winning the award shows that the product meets a very high standard, in terms of formulation, functionality and user experience. She also said that winning gives AstraReal further motivation to continue to develop science-based products and reach even more consumers.
Astaxin Gentle Face Cleanser competed alongside products from Elemis, Comfort Zone, and La Roche-Posay in the category of Facial Cleanser of the Year. The awards jury highlighted the high quality and gentle properties of Astaxin Gentle Face Cleanser. The jury talked about how its stability and reliability made it the best foundation for any skin care routine. The jury also stated, "this year’s winner delivers on all points, leaving even the most sensitive skin clean, soft, and comfortably hydrated. It is also fragrance-free and developed and produced in Sweden.”
Each year, the Swedish Beauty Awards brings together those who are leading the industry and highlights products and innovations that have made an impact throughout the past year. In this year’s edition, 76 member companies participated with a total of 455 products. The entries are evaluated by an independent jury, which consists of journalists, skincare therapists, and other industry specialists, who test the products over several months based on the effectiveness, user experience and claims of the product.
