As consumers become more intentional about their lifestyles, wellness spaces are innovating ways in which individuals can more conveniently pursue their goals. So, where are we seeing the strongest momentum?

The Trend

Optimization without over-optimization. Going hand-in-hand with the "skinimalism" movement, wellness and biohacking are paring down, allowing consumers to wake up from their honeymoon phase with using every gadget and gizmo, and allowing them to focus on slower, more intentional ways to keep well. The bulk of Kimpton's offerings enhance the ways clients can do the things they already do: take care of their skin, take care of their bodies post-workout and get a good night's sleep, maximizing on the novelty of being in a new place via Kimpton's and Onélogy’s unique offerings, without sacrificing the consistency of a well-seeker's routine.

The Offerings

Hyatt Regency Lake Washington got festive this February for the holiday, with special spa treatments and dining experiences, curated to focus on connectivity and memory making.

“Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to slow down and savor meaningful moments together,” says Brandon Near, senior chef de cuisine at Water’s Table in Hyatt Regency Lake Washington. “From festive dining experiences at Water’s Table to a restorative stay by the lake, our goal is to create an atmosphere where guests can truly celebrate the people they love.”

During the week of Valentine's Day, Water's Table got guests in the mood via two special events: a Galentine's Day celebration held on the Wednesday before the holiday, featuring "Girl Dinner" (we're pretty big fans ourselves), and a special spread on the holiday itself, set against the backdrop of Lake Washington's scenic views. The Valentine's Day spa offerings remain available through the end of February, with couples having the opportunity to maximize on Lake Washington's "spa-cation" offer, ideal for a romantic weekend escape.

The Trend

A festive wellness experience that meshes well with the market's increasingly holistic perspective. Spa treatments for physical health, a special spread and scenic views for mental health, and a celebration of connectivity, so travelers can get away while remaining rooted in their sense of community through the celebration of their connections with loved ones.

3. THE WELL Bay Harbor Islands in Miami

The Offerings

The nation’s first community-driven wellness residences, developed by Terra and THE WELL, integrate physical, mental and spiritual well-being into daily life. With holistic therapies, state-of-the-art thermal experiences and programming designed to combat modern loneliness, the project has already surpassed 50% sales ahead of its 2026 completion, underscoring growing demand for wellness-first living.

“At THE WELL, wellness is about more than personal health. We believe that human connection is a pillar of health and it’s about creating environments where people genuinely connect,” affirms Kane Sarhan, co-founder and chief creative officer of THE WELL. “From community gardens and rooftop fitness classes that bring neighbors together, to social lobbies designed for real conversation, we’ve built places at THE WELL where people connect face-to-face in a world driven by screens. Technology plays a supportive role through services like text-based concierge and seamless in-home wellness features, but it never replaces human connection. The goal is to make it easy for residents to come together, slow down and feel part of a like-minded community, even in an increasingly digital world.”

The Trend

We saw the "stay-cation" follow in the wake of the vacation, and so wellness residences are the logical follow-up to travel wellness. While the integration and accessibility of various therapies and wellness experiences are obvious perks, centering a community around wellness is beneficial not just for the connective element but for the benefit of consistency. When well-seekers live with other like-minded well-seekers, it's easier to empower each other to make choices conducive to their health and lifestyle goals, bringing a new meta edge to the broader holistic wellness conversation.
