Salon Gurus, LLC, an online educational platform for beauty professionals, has announced the launch of Salon Safety Training for the Beauty Industry, an online, forever-access program. Additionally, the platform has named celebrated esthetician Lora Condon its newest guru, making her podcast–Elite Esthetician, How–available on the Salon Gurus website.
The six-module training program will bring industry professionals up to the new standards now required by the COVID-19 pandemic. Each module addresses different safety topics and the course offers a certification upon passing a comprehensive exam.
“This is the only safety training program we’ve heard of that includes all practitioners in the beauty culture: from estheticians, to barbers, to cosmetologists, lash artists, manicurists, through to makeup artists, massage therapists, spray tanning artists, to waxing specialists,” Karen Hodges, co-founder of Salon Gurus, said. “We wanted a program that would encompass all beauty providers.”
As for Salon Gurus’ new educator, Condon, a consultant for spas, salons and national beauty chain stores, excels at helping spas creatively market themselves for immediate results. Her podcast is full of ideas and information that will support businesses in redesigning their menus with confidence to bring clients to appointments immediately after reading it.
Condon loves helping spa professionals create the business of their dreams and has focused this podcast on the needs of the individual entrepreneur and small spas and skin care salons. She will be offering more courses for Salon Guru’s students on an ongoing basis.
