The float tank, called the “Pearl,” is a revolution float orb, that allows guests to float effortlessly in a high concentration of Epsom salt for a 30-minute or 60-minute session. The orb has an 8’8” interior float length, which is longer than commercial float rooms.  It also has a low step-in threshold and larger side opening lid for easier entry and exit, which can be in the enclosed position or left open during the float session.  The float experience features multi-color LED lighting for color therapy, stereo transducer speakers and dual in-tank heaters.

“We’re very excited to announce the addition of flotation therapy to the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe experience,” said Julie Orblych, spa manager at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino. “Flotation therapy has several unique healing benefits ranging from boosted immunity and stress relief to reduction in pain, relaxation and overall well-being. Our guests will have a unique opportunity to enjoy one of the largest interior float spaces and we believe that they will thoroughly enjoy their experience floating their stresses and pain away.”

Each experience in the orb is fully customizable per each guest. They can opt to leave the light and music on and keep the door open or close the door and turn off the music and lights to create a dark and meditative experience without the stresses of the outside environment.

Services are available every Friday through Sunday.
