Four Seasons introduced its first adult-only wellness retreat available at the Four Seasons Hotel Lanai at Koele, A Sensei Retreat in Hawaii. The retreat aims to stimulate the mind with workshops, mindfulness classes and art activities, while creating a supportive environment for group discussion.

The resort features 96 guest rooms and suites, a central Great Room, a Sensei by Nobu restaurant and a spa and wellness facility with 10 private spa hales and public spaces with commissioned works of art.

Its private spa hales feature oversized treatment tables, indoor and outdoor showers, infrared saunas, Japanese ofuro bathtubs, private plunge pools and lounging areas. With customized treatments, the resort offers a range of therapeutic massages, all-natural facials, unique aqua therapy sessions and beauty services and stylings. Additionally, the resort’s Sensei-developed thermal body-mapping technology creates a map of the customer’s body.

Four Seasons Hotel Lanai at Koele also hosts a constantly revolving schedule of up to 16 fitness classes a day, with private sessions in the Yoga Pavilion, gym, one of two movement studios or several of the outdoor locations. Guests can also go on daily hikes while visiting. The resorts cuisine comes from locally grown produce at the Sensei Farm and meals are designed with taste and health in mind.

Another experience available at this Four Seasons resort is the opportunity to help restore local cultural sites and work under the direction of local historians and botanists.

Due to the resort’s location, guests have access to island exploration. The resort boasts tennis courts and golf overlooking expansive plateaus to ocean views and white-sand beaches. Guests can go whale watching or connect with nature through scenic mountain hikes, as well as watch sunsets and sunrises near the tranquil Hulopoe Bay.
