Jump on in—the water's full of sharks. The Global Wellness Summit (GWS) is now accepting submissions for its fourth annual Shark Tank of Wellness competition.

Open to undergraduate and post-graduate students around the world (ages 18 and older), three finalists will be chosen among the anticipated 100+ submissions to present their concept to the “wellness sharks.” They will be flown out to the annual summit, where the “sharks” will question them in front of more than 600 business and thought leaders.

The first prize winner will receive $5,000; the runners-up will receive $2,500 each.

Submissions will be evaluated based on their viability, and can serve any aspect of the wellness industry. Students are asked to submit a Concept Submission Form detailing their viable business idea and a one-to-two-minute video presentation; they will be accepted through May 15, 2019.

“Our Shark Tank-style competition is always a highlight of the Summit,” said Nancy Davis, chief creative officer and executive director. “Delegates enthusiastically embrace the lively Q and A between today’s wellness leaders and tomorrow’s wellness entrepreneurs who passionately present their inspirational wellness concepts of the future.”

The 13th annual Global Wellness Summit will be held October 15-17, 2019 at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. For more information, or to submit to the Shark Tank of Wellness, visit www.globalwellnesssummit.com.
