Founder and engineer, Priscila Fadul, opens up about how she created the brand and the making of it, which one can argue has been in progress for decades, from growing up in a family rooted in the beauty industry, to Fadul’s inquisitive, solutions-oriented nature, which drove her to create a science-backed, simplified skin care brand that could work for everyone.
“We’ve all spent years chasing more steps, more products and more promises in our beauty routine," says Fadul. "Beauty today is about being thoughtful, doing what truly matters and doing it better."
Skin care and wellness go hand-in-hand. While Lendava was created as the answer to the skin care market’s product fatigue, Fadul readily admits that topicals aren’t the be-all-end-all of skin care. She takes time to be present in her life, and she’s intentional about the food she and her family consume. Skin is just one piece of the body’s complex system; taking care of it all is a skin care regimen, as well as a wellness one. Fadul’s calling lies in her role as a problem-solver; the very premise that set her on the path to developing Lendava dictates a holistic approach to wellness, seeing as how everything’s connected.
As is her approach with most things, taking on a solutions-oriented approach reigns supreme. Skin care and wellness, as an extension of that, shouldn’t be a chore. It should be something people get to do for themselves. Finding the right products shouldn’t be a complex, tedious process; people should have the tools they need at the ready, without needing an engineering or chemistry degree to decipher labels. Moreover, products should be enjoyable to use, pleasant in texture and without stifling, muddled processes in order to get noticeable results. This approach makes integrity the foundation of Lendava, which is why Fadul can proudly share her brand with the world.
Fadul adds, “For me, wellness isn’t about chasing trends. It’s about the quiet luxury of time. Time to move, to eat well and to take care of yourself in a way that feels natural and uncomplicated.”
Modern Solutions in Beauty
In setting out to craft a brand that could simplify skin care for everyone, a unisex approach was intuitively adopted; the packaging is sleek and streamlined, the products themselves are effective and consist only of regimen staples and because Lendava was created to meet core skin care needs, ethical sourcing and ease of use are paramount, as sustainability in her skin care line means being able to support healthy skin, for as long as the market needs it. In this way, Lendava is the market’s answer to both the skinimalism movement, as well as the shift towards more fluid gender roles, and gender-neutral products.
“Besides being results-focused, I really wanted to create a product that users would feel proud to display on their vanity,” Fadul reasons, speaking to her brand's design. The tight, concise product line ensures that having everything on display won’t clutter up a user’s counterspace, while the sleek, minimalist design is modern and embodies the brand’s “bare essentials” approach. Fadul taps into a key element in designing her brand: efficacy, while the core is not sufficient by itself to distinguish a product in this day and age. Products should be enjoyable, each experience should be one people look forward to, with the product having something of a pull when users aren’t using it, in this case, the luxury of being able to treat yourself to an effective and sensorially pleasurable skin care regimen.
This grounded approach to luxury skin care is carried into the name. Lendava, a town in Slovenia, is where Fadul’s grandfather was from. She chose to name her brand after it as an homage to the cherished memories of spending time there with her grandfather. “That slowed-down, simplistic environment,” she describes the feeling she wants her brand to capture, and it’s one that we all dream of, even if we haven’t been to Lendava ourselves.
Lendava: An Extension of Fadul

Lendava is the culmination of Fadul’s expertise, ambition and integrity—a combination so effective, she bottled it. With so much ground covered and nowhere to go but upward and onward, she recounts a moment of pride that commemorated Lendava's success, while winking to its bright future: “Seeing my product on shelves overseas and the reach—that was something.”
