Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia has announced the appointment of Kristen Mather as its new spa director at the Joya Spa. Mather will oversee the operational function and management of Joya Spa and the resort’s retail outlets, focusing on enhancing guest experiences.

Mather has nearly a decade of industry experience. During her time as assistant spa director at The Phoenician, she played an instrumental role in overseeing a multi-million dollar renovation project that enhanced the spa's offerings. Under her leadership, The Phoenician Resort's spa received the prestigious Forbes Five Star Award in 2019. She also previously served as guest services manager at The Sanctuary.
"Within the spa industry, numerous individuals embody the role of healers," Mather said. "It goes beyond the creation of a luxurious space; it involves nurturing connections that enable guests to depart with a sense of rejuvenation. The addition of Kristen Mather aligns with Omni Scottsdale's commitment to enhancing experiences for its guests following a recent multi-million dollar renovation to its rooms and meeting spaces completed in August 2023. Joya Spa amenities include spa suites, a terrace pool and a full-service salon. The spa’s signature services include facials, massage, body treatments, wellness and meditation rituals, and more.
