With a Little Help From My Friends

In my personal life, I have a group of friends that I couldn’t live without. They are the through-thick-and-thin type of friends that will tell you you look amazing (when you know you don’t), give you a shoulder to lean on and text you when there’s bad weather in your area to make sure everyone is OK. I’ve lived long enough to know that these types of friends aren’t easily found. They are smart, funny, caring and truthful; and above all else, they are my friends—no matter what.

In my professional life, I am lucky enough to have a group like this, too. Skin Inc. relies heavily on the advice, guidance and information provided by the members of its Editorial Advisory Board, which consists of a plugged-in group of professional skin care and spa industry leaders who are located throughout the country and hold roles in various capacities in our industry.

As we start a new year and a new term, I would like to sincerely thank the members of the 2012–2013 Skin Inc. Editorial Advisory Board who have served during a time of great change, and would like to acknowledge the outgoing members for their contributions, including: Angela Cortright, Principal, Spa Gregorie’s; Morag Currin, President, Touch for Cancer; Steven H. Dayan, MD, FACS, cosmetic surgeon; Zoe Diana Draelos, MD, dermatologist; Lynn Maestro, National Sales, Marketing and Education Director, Perron Rigot; and Kyle Simonson, Founder/CEO, Simonson’s Salon & Spa.
