Mastering Bridal Accommodations

Do brides say “I do” to you? Accommodating a bridal party involves a certain caliber of finesse and perfectionism. For a bride, choosing the perfect glam team is a tough decision since the wedding day is the one look that may long outlive her. No pressure, but you might choose to incorporate bridal services as seriously as the bride who is considering hiring you.

The Engagement

When handling bridal service inquiries, collect all of your preliminary information via e-mail to have the details in writing for review purposes. Before requesting a full questionnaire, begin by asking the tentative date, size of the bridal party and where the services will be performed to determine if accommodations can be made. If accommodations can be made, fantastic! Now, an in-person consultation, or trial date, should be scheduled. All details should be gathered to put into a contract, which can be used to hold the date after the trial takes place. Ask the client to begin envisioning the look she wants and to bring pictures to the trial.
