In Japanese culture, onsens are used for wellness to provide a time for meditation and rehabilitation. The Yunnesun Spa in Hakone, Japan adds an interesting twist on this ancient wellness treatment. Apart from the coffee, wine and green tea baths that are offered at the spa, there is also a ramen bath that has guests sitting and bathing in actual ramen pork broth.
Yunnesun claims that the collagen in the pork has beneficial properties in beautifying the skin and boosting metabolism, according to an article on TokyoTreat. They also incorporate a visual appeal to all of their baths by incorporating some oversized version of the bath's theme. For the ramen bath in particular, they include large over sized noodles and pieces of pork to hang over the tubs.
