Gene Juarez Salons & Spas has expanded its acne facial offering with The Clarify + Balance Facial, which balances the microbiome for clear and balanced skin. The facial is initially launched in 30 treatment rooms across eleven Gene Juarez locations, and it features ingredients such as marine extracts, charcoal, hydroxy acids and more.
The new facial was developed in partnership with Glo Skin Beauty utilizing the brand's Acne Collection that launched May 2024. It is a comprehensive clarifying and balancing solution for all skin types. It focuses on drawing out impurities, clarifying the skin and strengthening the skin's microbiome. The facial includes a 45-minute main service and a 15-minute express follow-up two weeks later.
Charcoal helps remove toxins from pores. A marine extract skin-balancing complex aids in barrier repair and locks in hydration. Hyaluronic acid helps combat dehydration by replenishing moisture reserves. Niacinamide reduces water loss and improves the skin's barrier function. Gentle hydroxy acids refine and renew the skin for a clearer, smoother complexion without irritation.
Clarify + Balance Facial How-To
Step 1. Double cleanse with Purifying Gel Cleanser.
Step 2. Prep for peel with Beta-Clarity Pro 5 Liquid Exfoliant.
Step 3. Peel with Hydra-Bright Pro 5 Liquid Exfoliant + Beta-Clarity AHA Clarifying Peel
Step 4. Perform extractions and high frequency.
Step 5. Apply Beta-Clarity BHA Drops.
Step 6. Apply Charcoal Detox Mask.
Step 7. Spritz Phyto-Calm Flower Mist, apply C-Shield Anti-Pollution Drops and HA-Revive Hyaluronic Drops. Finish with Hydra-Bright Eye Cream (optional), BHA Clarifying Gel Moisturizer, C-Shield Anti-Pollution Moisture Tint or Oil-Free SPF 40+ Express.
