This year has been full of tradeshows, traveling to offer continuing education around the world and still managing to see clients in my spa. Not having as much time as I would like to go in and see Neal, my esthetician, I have my “on the go routine” that keeps my skin in shape while traveling.
1. Supplements and Water for Skin
A concern of mine is keeping my immune system in tip-top shape, which includes getting enough rest, drinking plenty of water and stopping in to get my monthly IV hydration. It includes glutathione, vitamin C, zinc and B-12.
2. The Right Cleanser
Having the right cleanser is crucial during the busy tradeshow season. I like to use my favorite, go-to cleanser, Dynamic Active Cleanser, by Facials bi Design Skincare, which is just the right combination of AHA and BHA for the road.
3. Vitamin A and B
We aren’t getting any younger, right? But, you can never start too early to maintain what you have! I like to incorporate my Vital A (age control) and Vital B (hydration and plumping), which are also great for under the eyes as well, from DermAware Bio-targeted skincare.
4. Emu Cream
I like to follow up with another favorite of mine, which is the Emu Serum Cream, by Los Angeles Oil and Butter, to lock in everything.
5. Got To Have Sunscreen
Last, but certainly not least, my sunscreen Cast Away by Linder health. This sunscreen not only helps keeps the UVA and UVB rays away, but it also goes on so smooth with no cast with me having more pigmented skin, and leaves my skin with a great hint of moisture just right without any greasy finish. Now, I am ready for a classroom full of eager participants and fully booked spa day of treating clients.
