The Dolly Monroe Beauty Academy was founded in 2018 by licensed esthetician, Dolly Monroe. The academy gives students an opportunity to earn their esthetician and makeup artistry licenses, providing training on beauty skills including anatomy, waxing, facials, makeup and eyelashes.

Monroe says she has used and continues to use revenue money from the academy to invest back into the students’ education through renovations, enhanced curriculums and scholarships.

The academy offers three different programs: 300-hour track, 600-hour track, or online courses. Students can earn their esthetician and makeup artistry licenses in programs that run from seven to 18 weeks.

The academy has currently graduated 266 students. More information on the program is available on its website.
