Whether you’re focused on basic, healthy skin facials or advanced brightening treatments, a resilient barrier must be the starting point. However, that’s also where many of us slip: we prioritize barrier repair early on, then stop nurturing it throughout the client’s journey. Maintaining that balance has only gotten harder in a world where everyone wants everything now. As professionals, it’s on us to slow our clients down, set clear expectations and help them learn to respect what their skin truly needs.
