Fresh from In-Cosmetics Global 2026, Solabia unveiled a portfolio of new active and functional ingredients designed to boost both performance and sensoriality across skincare, make-up and hair care. The showcase combined advanced texture engineering with bioinspired skin solutions, supported by new study data and application concepts spanning multiple categories.

Leading the functional ingredient lineup, ViscoPure, which won Gold for Best Functional Ingredient, introduces a 100% bio-based gelling system delivering high viscosity at ultra-low doses. Produced via a solvent-free, eco-designed process, it enables crystal-clear, stable textures while offering a natural alternative to petrochemical thickeners.

Also awarded Gold (Make-Up Bar), OleoVeil Care is a next-generation amphiphilic film-forming emollient designed to improve long-wear comfort. It reduces pilling, enhances glide and provides water and transfer resistance, while delivering a silicone-like sensory profile and a blurring effect suited to color cosmetics. Additional studies point to hair care benefits, including improved volume control and curl definition.

On the actives side, Solabia introduced Bloomlight, a bioinspired ingredient targeting neuropigmentation via exosome-mediated pathways. Derived from organic French lemon thyme and supported by preclinical and organ-on-chip data, it acts on neurogenic and environmental triggers of pigmentation. Clinically tested at 3%, it improves skin tone uniformity and reduces dark spots, while remaining 100% natural origin and preservative-free. Meanwhile, 3Dermilyn GH, a COSMOS-approved active derived from plantain seed mucilage, focuses on sensitive and weakened skin. Its film-forming, hygroscopic polysaccharide structure supports soothing, regeneration and overall skin comfort.

To demonstrate real-world application, Solabia also presented 11 formulation concepts at a dedicated Texture Corner, allowing visitors to experience the sensory profiles and performance of its latest innovations firsthand.
