The Martha Washington Inn & Spa in Abingdon, Virginia, has installed an air purification system that fights airborne viruses.
The Martha employed Global Plasma Solutions (GPS) to install needlepoint bipolar ionization (NPBI) air purification technology that delivers clean indoor air by reducing airborne particulates, odors and pathogens. The technology is free of ozone and other byproducts. The NPBI system will be placed strategically throughout the property to ensure that all spa, fitness and pool facilities are covered.
“This high-tech system will give guests just another reason to breathe easy while enjoying treatments at The Spa,” says spa director Cynthia Childers. “Anything and everything we can do to keep people safe is worth the extra effort and expense.”
