Sea Island has announced two executive promotions.
Ella Kent has been named director of rooms. Kent joined Sea Island as director of spa and salon in 2014; that role later expanded to include oversight of fitness and tennis. During her tenure, she led the spa to a place on Forbes’ Verified List (2018), a designation bestowed upon only 30 spas worldwide. She has previously served as chairman of the board for the International Spa Association.
Dana Reitz is now director of spa and fitness. Joining the spa in 2014 as assistant director of spa and salon, in her new role Reitz will be tasked with continuing the expansion of the spa’s legacy. She previously served as spa and health club director at the Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta.
“Both Ella and Dana are valued members of the Sea Island family with proven capabilities,” said Scott Steilen, president and CEO of Sea Island. “It is with great pleasure that we announce their new positions and responsibilities.”
