SoundMachine has partnered with Napster to create a music subscription service fo rbusinesses such as spas and restaurants with an on-brand soundtrack. The service, Business Premium combines Napster’s music programming technology and catalog with SoundMachine’s scheduling and management features, and is currently available in the U.S., Canada and Spain (additionally territories will be added in the coming months).
Users can create custom stations beginning with an artist or a song. Features include the ability to upload and schedule promotional messages to play along with the music; program different music to play at different points in the day; mix complementary genre stations to create the perfect in-store audio backdrop; and control music in multiple locations from a central account. SoundMachine also offers custom playlists handcrafted for individual companies.
