Mindbody has announced the promotion of Josh McCarter to president.
McCarter joined Mindbody as chief strategy officer in 2018 upon its acquisition of Booker, of which he was CEO and co-founder. His previous roles include COO of computer hardware distributor Arbitech; COO of SpaFinder; and vice president of international development and vice president of business development for online automotive marketing company Autobytel.com.
In his new role, McCarter will be responsible for the company’s principle revenue generating activities including sales, marketing, customer services, business development and corporate development. He replaces Mike Mansbach, who chose to step down to spend more time with his family.
“Josh’s profound knowledge of the wellness industry and deep understanding of our brand make him the ideal person to accelerate and execute our national and global growth strategies,” said Rick Stollmeyer, CEO and co-founder of Mindbody. “Josh is a proven leader that fully embraces our ambitious goal of creating the premier, global marketplace for fitness, beauty and wellness.”
“I’m humbled and excited to begin the next phase of my journey here at Midbody,” added McCarter. “I’m looking forward to being more directly connected with the critical components of the company that drive our customer growth strategy, as well as working with our partners and product team to innovate our offering to better serve the tens of thousands of customers that depend on our software to run and grow their businesses.
