What internal beauty products have you found to be most popular?
Arun Tomson, director of AyurMa at Four Seasons Resorts Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru: Our most popular drink is Fonithoshi, named after the Maldivian word for cinnamon. We prepare it by boiling cinnamon sticks, peppermint leaves, ginger, lime juice and water, with honey to taste. Served cold, it cools the body due to its anti-inflammatory properties, supports digestion, helps regulate blood sugar, reduces blood pressure and cholesterol, relieves congestive headaches and is antioxidant-rich.
Jeffrey Stewart, CEO, Rizo Radiance: A must- have drink is Rizo Radiance Collagen Tea. Each sip harnesses the power of collagen peptides to deliver a hydrating boost of wellness for the skin. It can be wonderfully bundled with spa treatments and as collagen-infused mixed drinks.
Kara Morris, LE, owner, Karasmatic Day Spa, New York: A favorite internal beauty product is the DMK EFA+ supplement, which has nutrients that help maintain a healthy barrier and skin hydration. It works on a cellular level to repair enzymatic activity, cell signaling, cell membranes, collagen production and transepidermal water loss.
Ben Johnson, M.D., founder, Osmosis: Osmosis supplements can target specific health and skin conditions, so their popularity has a lot to do with what is plaguing most people. For example, our skin and organ repair supplement Regenerate provides rejuvenation from the inside out, while our Recovery oil helps restore the natural volume in the face’s structural fat pads, as an alternative to fillers. For acne, Skin Clarifier melts the mucus in the gut related to congestion in the skin, and those with digestive issues benefit from Digestive Support for enzyme support.

Which ingredients do you prefer?
Priscilla Alden, founder and managing director, Ultimate Beauty Health: Healthy blood flow is important for everyone. This is our focus in the science of nitric oxide, which is a key messenger molecule in the cardiovascular system, assisting trillions of cells to communicate with each other while supporting the body’s ability to absorb essential nutrients.
Tomson: Beauty and gut health are strongly connected. The trillions of microorganisms in the digestive system profoundly impact skin health. A daily teaspoon of coconut oil—rich in medium chain triglycerides (MCT) and lauric acid—enhances digestion and combats harmful gut bacteria, viruses and fungi. Prebiotic foods like chicory root, Jerusalem artichoke, garlic and onions, alongside legumes such as lentils, chickpeas and beans, also support a healthy gut microbiome.
Stewart: Collagen is a gold standard when it comes to skin health. It’s the main protein that our skin is comprised of, but naturally depletes as we all get older. Thankfully, with all the new innovations in ingestible and topicals, there are so many ways we can preserve our skin’s collagen.
Morris: Evening primrose oil and sea buckthorn are game-changing ingredients that provide vitamin E and essential fatty acids. These components help heal dehydrated skin, acne, inflammation, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis and pigmentation, and they support overall skin health from the inside.
Johnson: Alpha keto-glutarate (AKG) is remarkable at restoring collagen-making activity and helping repair the liver. Sea buckthorn oil, when specially blended, helps restore lifting volume to the face, buttocks, breasts and neck.
How can ingestibles complement spa treatments?
Tomson: Beauty ingestibles enhance spa treatments’ efficacy. While spa services prioritize external care, ingestibles provide internal support to promote skin rejuvenation, collagen production and protection against oxidative stress. Incorporating ingestibles alongside spa treatments can also address factors like stress reduction, sleep quality, immune function and hormonal balance—a comprehensive approach that promotes overall well-being in addition to radiant skin.
Johnson: The skin relies heavily on its internal resources for daily maintenance and repair activities. Supplement technology helps address key bottlenecks we have found, such as internal pathogens or emotions that are contributing to the skin problem.
Morris: Paired with spa protocols and home prescriptives, ingestibles amp up all treatments by giving epidermal cells the nutritional building blocks they need. I’ve seen a dramatic difference in clients’ skin and my own complexion. Our supplements are hands down some of the most effective and powerful products in our toolbox.
