Tina Long, M.D., founder of Parker Med Spa, has started a program where the medical spa gives away $500 in cash to three students from three different high schools for them to put toward their college education. This is the first year that Long is trying this scholarship program, but she has a goal to make this an annual event.
The award ceremony for the first winner of this program had a great turnout. The Mayor of Parker, Colorado, Mike Waid; and councilwoman Amy Holland were in attendance. They will also be attending the other two award events
Long's goal of this program is to make an impact in the lives of the local high school students. She hopes that providing these scholarships will help them reach their future educational goals and career.
