The Society of Foreign Consuls awarded Repêchage founder and CEO Lydia Sarfati with a Certificate of Recognition at its Celebration of International Women’s Day, held in New York City.
Sarfati was honored “for her Outstanding Achievements and Contribution to Community Empowerment.” The entrepreneur was nominated by the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York, Maciej Golubiewski, who accepted the award on her behalf.
“I am incredibly honored that the Society of Foreign Consuls in New York has presented me with this recognition and am thankful to the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York, Maciej Golubiewski, for nominating me,” said Sarfati. “I am very proud to be a Polish-American woman, and I believe as women we must continue to empower one another. I only hope my story can inspire other women to follow their passion and pursue their dreams.”
