According to Luz Vaquero, head perfumer at Iberchem, ink is a multifaceted accord built on sensory contrasts rather than a single note:
Cool mineral facets provide a dark, intellectual chill, while dry woods and resins add smoky, grounded depth. At the same time, metallic reverberation evokes the scent of freshly printed pages and handwritten intimacy.
The result is a versatile, genderless, "powerfully intimate" scent that treats the skin as paper.
Iberchem's Ink fragrance collection will be displayed in a stand designed to look like a bookstore.
“With Ink, we wanted to do more than present a trend; we wanted to introduce a new olfactive family and a new way to think about fragrance,” says Guillaume Audy, communications director at Iberchem. “Ink is the black outfit of perfumery: timeless and versatile without limiting creativity.”
To balance the dark, intellectual weight of the INK collection, Iberchem will also debut a Latte-inspired collection at the stand’s coffee bar. These soft, milky and comforting notes offer a creamy olfactory contrast to the sharp, metallic precision of the ink accords, showcasing a dual focus on culture and emotion.
