The third day of the 2008 Face & Body Spa & Healthy Aging Conference and Expo has dawned, bringing with it the excitement and energy from Sunday night's Networking Cocktail Reception, where Skin Inc. magazine's 20-year anniversary was celebrated, the winners of the 2008 Best of the Best Awards were recognized, and one lucky attendee became the owner of an eco-friendly electric car!

Networking Cocktail Reception

Spa owners and professionals, industry leaders and experts, and fellow attendees at the Networking Cocktail Reception mixed and mingled over drinks Sunday evening, chatting with each other about the days' event and making lasting connections. Skin Inc. magazine publisher, Annette Delagrange, spoke about the publication's 20 years in the business, reading from a recent letter from the magazine's founder, Jean Allured. Next up, Best of the Best Award winners received their stunning statuettes and expressed their gratitude for the recognition to a crowd full of their peers. And finally, the evening culminated with the drawing for the Zen electric car, sponsored by Revitalash. After a quick introduction from Revitalash's founder and a few moments of suspense, Yogi Patel's name was drawn. Patel, from Houston, Texas, who was stationed at the back of the room, raised his arms in victory as he navigated the crowds to accept the keys.

As the last day of the expo concludes, attendees are crossing off the last items on their to-do lists and exhibitors are thrilled. Wrapping up Manufacturer Classrooms and Exhibitor Presentation Areas, attendees also picked up the final bits of product-specific knowledge ready to bring new ideas--and new revenue--to their spas.

For product-neutral education, the Advanced Education Conference Program also drew to a close after providing audience members with in-depth knowledge from known industry leaders and fresh faces with new perspectives.

Do you know the way

As the sun sets on the final day of another successful Face & Body, attendees and exhibitors look to 2009 when the show moves to a new home--the third largest city in California: San Jose. As one of the leading cities in the region, San Jose offers convenience, safety and a refreshing option to next years' Face & Body participants. We'll see you July 11-13, 2009 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose!
