Christine Valmy marked the 50th anniversary of her emigration to the United States, after which she became one of the pioneers of the spa industry in the United States, at a celebration in September. The grand opening of the Christine Valmy International School in New York City also took place during this event. The building, designed and constructed to be eco-friendly, occupies an entire 15,000-square-foot floor, on 5th Avenue.
