As we prepare for 2016, I thought it would be a great idea to ask clients what keeps them coming back for treatments and why they stay loyal to their esthetician. Here are #10things that clients LOVE about their skin care therapist.
1. Needed relaxation
“We take the first few minutes to catch-up and then she says to me, ‘This is your time to relax—no more talking.’ She gives me permission to be quiet and have some me time.” –Kim J., Seattle
2. Nice words
“Before every service, she gives me a compliment and always finds something nice to say. She makes me feel good right away.” –Sara H., Scottsdale, AZ
3. Mad skills
“I’m obsessed with my lash extensions and my esthetician, is the master of her craft.” –Lisa T., Los Angeles
4. A needed environment
“I have two estheticians—one makes my skin look and feel amazing and is full of energy and a second that is quiet during the treatments.” –Mathias A., West Hollywood, CA
“I appreciate that my esthetician treats my aging skin in a way that does not make me feel old. She refers to it (my regimen) as keeping me healthy.” –Susan D., Mount Vernon, WA
“My schedule is really hectic, and I go between two houses. She makes scheduling easy, is always on time and makes sure I always have the product I need for traveling.” –Jessica V., New York
“I go back because she is professional and knowledgeable about product ingredients and targets the treatments for my skin. I always leave my appointment looking and feeling better.” –Cynthia W., San Francisco
“Her recommended products actually work with my skin. I have seen results, and I trust her recommendations.” –Linda A., Lexington, KY
“He immediately makes me feel relaxed and at ease, so I can enjoy the treatment and not feel self-conscious about telling him what is happening with my skin.” –Danielle F., Oakland, CA
“She pre-books my waxing appointments out for the full year. It makes it so easy for me that I don’t even have to think about it.” –Cassandra M., Chicago
This month’s #10things are action items we can do everyday in our spas. What I find so interesting is that no one spoke about product lines or treatment costs. Our clients return for our knowledge and customer service. Happy Holidays, and I look forward to more #10things in 2016!
