When was the last time you gave your clients a spring break? We don’t mean a trip to Cancun — we’re talking about relaxing facials and body treatments inspired by the refreshing aroma of springtime. Here are seven blooming treatments that can help you get inspired:

1. Floral Compresses Treatment (90 min., 1,740 pesos – roughly $97)

A new body treatment at Spa Matilda uses flower petals with special properties, which the spa said can ease tension while smoothing the skin, balancing the nervous system and calming muscles. During the treatment, warm compresses of dried flowers are applied all over the body and gently massaged into the skin. The therapy is based on Native American techniques that release healing properties of nature. A variety of flowers are used including lavender, orange blossom, calendula and rose.

2. Lavender Fields (50 or 80 min., $120 - $150)

Isabella Spa at Belhurst Castle, Geneva, New York 

Sweet, soothing lavender and the rich mineral properties of Himalayan salts are combined in this skin-smoothing exfoliation treatment. First, a lavender salt scrub is used to invigorate while softening and refining the texture of the skin. Then, healing lavender oils are applied with long flowing strokes. 

3. WF Goddess Wildcrafted & Organic Facial (60 min. or 90 min., $95 - $135)

Wildflower Spa & Apothecary, Sandpoint, Idaho 

Custom designed, this organic facial treatment begins with an aromatic rose-cucumber cleanser followed by a skin polish of rose hip-chamomile and a Moroccan rhassoul clay (a natural mineral clay mined in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco) herbal scrub. The treatment also uses a revitalizing and detoxifying rosemary-sage purifying dead-sea mud mask as well as a vitamin C rich honey-cacao moisturizing mask generously applied to balance the skin. Clients can then relax with a massage of the face, neck, shoulders, décolleté, hands and arms. Next, a final application of nourishing, age-repair serums and moisturizers wraps up the relaxing treatment.

4. Youth Preserve Facial Massage (30 min., $65)

Violet Skin Boutique, Brookline, Massachusetts

The Youth Preserve Facial massage is a blend of natural lift massage, acupressure and facial reflexology techniques to help with lymphatic drainage. It uses organic regenerating face oils of herbal kalizia and rose petal in addition to rose, herbal and black tea mists. Violet Skin Boutique said its signature face massage is used to tone and lift facial muscles, increase skin elasticity, reduce wrinkles and improve skin complexion. Meanwhile, facial reflexology techniques and lymphatic drainage eliminate toxins. The aesthetician also uses acupressure, which the spa said stimulates the oxygenation of the skin, helping to brighten and tone the face. Then, the treatment ends with the application of fresh toners from natural extracts of flowers, herbs and tea known for their regenerative and energetic qualities. 

5. Spring Renewal Facial  (75 min., $125)

Violet Skin also offers another facial especially geared towards spring. The treatment starts with gentle facial exfoliation using fresh organic aloe gel, peppermint and rice powder. Deep cleaning extractions follow to remove impurities, blackheads and whiteheads. A customized unique face mask is then applied to balance, hydrate and nourish while minimizing pores and detoxifying skin. The masks used it the spa’s Spring Renewal Facial contains biologically active ingredients found in nature: aloe, honey and green tea (Violet said it even grows the aloe in its own lab). A face, neck and décolleté massage is also part of the treatment. Also, a unique face compress mask saturated with restoring green tea toner that balances and tones. 

6. Precious Ruby Massage, Vitality featuring Gardenia (120 min., $395) 

The Peninsula Spa, Beverly Hills, California

With the aim of using rubies to signify attracting happiness and clearing negativity, this treatment includes a gardenia and ylang ylang scented brown sugar body scrub and hydrating rose clay wrap with reflexology massage. The treatment concludes with a full body massage.

7. Calendula Healing Facial (30, 60, or 90 min.; $59 - $135)

The Calendula Healing Facial is designed to address dry, dehydrated, sun damaged and sensitive skin. This deep cleansing facial uses a healing hibiscus calendula masque that contains shea butter, hibiscus and calendula flowers. The spa said this treatment addresses the following skin concerns: sensitivity, redness, dryness, dehydration, scarring, inflammation, eczema and sunburns.
