Randy Brown, LMT, received the 2018 Performance Health  FSMTA Humanitarian Award at the FSMTA National Convention and Trade Show.

Brown, who has served on the FSMTA Board, currently serves as president of the organization’s North Central Florida chapter. He volunteers for church missions in Colombia, ministering through massage techniques and active isolated stretching; he also works with the Never Say Never Foundation, a non-profit which works with paraplegic athletes and amputees to enhance their performance.

“It was truly a pleasure to present this year’s Humanitarian Award to yet another amazing humanitarian, Randy Brown,” said Lynda Solien-Wolfe, vice president massage and spa, performance health. “A true humanitarian cares about people they don’t even know and are the first to volunteer their time to help others, without asking for anything in return. They are someone who contributes positively to the human race through their caring nature. Simply put, a humanitarian makes other people’s lives better. Randy embodies these qualities and many more. Thank you, Randy!”

Added Joyce Prahasky, LMT, FSMTA executive president/CEO: “It is a privilege to work with Performance Health to recognize this year’s Humanitarian Award winner, Randy Brown. Randy truly exemplifies the spirit of giving and volunteering. There are very few people who give so much of their time, energy and money to make such a powerful impact on those less fortunate. I am so proud to have him on my team and in our organization. Congratulations Randy on this well-deserved honor and recognition.”
