To give a jump start to spa and skin Care professionals, Face & Body Midwest has moved its dates for 2017 up to January 21-23, 2017. January is the time of year when businesses (especially spas) will be evaluating their yearly performance and setting the year's goals. It presents the perfect opportunity to attend a tradeshow, learn about new lines, see new treatments and evaluate current offerings.

The perfect blend of advanced education, cutting-edge products and networking opportunities, Face & Body Midwest is an annual conference and expo held for spa, skin care and wellness professionals. The event will take place on Jan. 21-23, 2017 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.

As numerous sectors of the spa, skin care and wellness industry continue to see growth, Face & Body continues to build a more elevated experience for its attendees in 2017 and beyond.

"January signifies a fresh start, and we feel that launching the Midwest show at this time of year is the best way to let the industry know that we are in the business of skin,” said Sandy Chapin, group show director. "It gives industry professionals an opportunity to plan out their whole year and execute the best practices to better position their businesses for advancement. We are continuously growing; we have the support and we can carry a show. This is the same show attendees come to every year—but better.”

This year’s keynote, titled “Straight from the Editors: Beauty’s Biggest Trends,” will focus on the significance of forecasting trends when it comes to the growth of a spa, salon or beauty business. The keynote will be presented by editors from top beauty and skin care magazines: Katie Anderson from Skin Inc., Rachel Grabenhofer from Cosmetics and Toiletries, and Jeb Gleason-Allured from Global Cosmetics Industry.

Face & Body represents the diversity of today’s spa industry. This annual, innovative expo provides practical business solutions, presents the newest trends, and conveys insight from leading industry suppliers. Beyond just facials, the show seeks to explore how to strengthen this service-based industry, as it is built on trends and evolving consumer preference. In addition to its traditional education focus and exhibitor base, Face & Body Midwest’s areas of growth include learning pavilions, med-esthetics and massage, as well as other services increasingly being offered by day and resort spas.

For more than 20 years, the Face & Body event has brought industry professionals a top-notch, product-neutral Advanced Education Conference program, numerous networking opportunities and a leading expo. This highly- regarded event is presented by the professional skin care industry's leading publication, Skin Inc. magazine. Online event registration for Face & Body Midwest opens Oct. 3, 2016.
