After seven years as editor of Skin Inc., I am excited to say that I am passing the baton. I use this phrase because I am not “moving on” or “stepping down.” You’ll still see my name in Skin Inc. from time to time, as
I will remain Editor In Chief, but I’m going to focus on bringing more of my gifts to our sister publications. Skin Inc. will have a new managing editor, and boy do I have the perfect woman for the job.
I am elated to announce that former Skin Inc. Assistant Editor Maggie Walker (formerly Connelly) is coming back to us as Associate Managing Editor of the brand! She has an infectious smile, a warm Irish personality, a genuine love for professional beauty, and a gift for the written word, and I am excited to see all of the great things she is going to do. Please join me in welcoming her back to the brand.
Skin Inc. will always be near and dear to my heart, and I am going to miss the daily interactions with our industry experts, readers and writers. They say the only thing constant is change, and I can’t wait to bring change to other publications, and see the change a fresh set of eyes will make on Skin Inc. One thing that isn’t changing is my email, though, so I expect everyone to keep in touch.
