Dermodality announced that Linda Nelson has been named as its vice president of business development and training.
Nelson has been in the beauty industry for over two decades. She is a certified medical assistant with an oncology specialty as well as a licensed medical esthetician. Her previous career experience includes training and product development, retail sales and business management. She has also worked as an executive for companies such as Aveda, Elemis, ZO Skin Health by Zein Obagi, MD and Skin Authority. She has also held spa director positions with Hyatt and Steiner.
“This career move is the ideal next step for me,” Nelson said. “Dermodality puts the emphasis on education and the focus on science meeting esthetics.”
